A short, plain privacy note
Mocato keeps things simple, and that includes how we handle your information. Here's what this website collects, and why.
What we collect
The only information we collect is what you choose to send us through the contact form on our homepage: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. We don't ask for anything else, and the site doesn't collect anything about you in the background.
Why we collect it
For one thing: to reply to you. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing, and we don't use it to build a profile of you.
How your message reaches us
When you submit the form, it's delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, a form-processing service that passes your message along and filters out spam. Your details are handled only to deliver that message.
The site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve those font files, Google may receive your device's IP address. That's the extent of any third party's involvement.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, we'll note it here first.
How long we keep it
We keep your message only as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence. Ask us to delete it, and we will.
Your choices
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@mocato.com and we'll take care of it.
